OUR SERVICES

CCs offers customer tailored research services: full-service research, data collection and analysis, training of enumerators and capacity building on community engagement; social accountability and MEAL.

CCs uses highly qualified environmental engineers to perform environmental feasibility analysis to provide sound recommendations about the environmental viability of the different projects in different contexts, that is, if it can obtain the necessary approvals and, if so, at a reasonable cost. This includes feasibility studies in other sectors through different integrative approaches set to support public and private investors to determine the viability of their initiatives and ensure that they are legally, technically and socioeconomically feasible.

CCs has its own staff of economists capable assessing market performance of products and services and to carry out in-depth labour condition studies. This package allows for a thorough assessments of current business economics and the identification of risks and opportunities. Our market assessments include Customer Satisfaction Research, which exclusively focuses on customer’s views to gauge and deliver business to business customer satisfaction following strict ethical guidelines laid down by Core International Standards (Market Research Society – MRS).

MEAL involves tracking the progress of programs, making adjustments and assessing outcomes. This is pivotal in the design and implementation of high-impact programs. We benefit from internal MEAL experts who works to facilitate decision making, build accountability and inclusiveness mindset to establish dialogue on development initiatives between all stakeholders.

CCs relies on local knowledge to employ a range of methods to assess opportunities and needs using focus group discussions, key-informant interviews, community meetings, surveys amidst other innovative approaches. This takes place before program implementation and design. CCs is focused on identifying and addressing needs of the community in which Development Practitioners are set to intervene and shape lives of different people in communities.

CCs uses instruments such as base- and end-line studies and midterm reviews to provide an objective assessment of the implementation and impact of projects. This includes assessments focusing on agriculture, livelihoods and food security; WASH; public health; governance and education; gender among other sectors.

CCs benefit from having several expertise whose have made their entire career coordinating, supervising and monitoring projects in different countries and areas, mainly in Mozambique. Couple of them have also benefited from project design training in high qualified schools in Africa, to mention UNISA, Africa School of Project Management, Rhodes University and MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation. The company uses these existing know-how to help development agents and practitioners in taking the first and crucial phase of the project cycle: designing a project.

CCs uses innovative research approaches and a wide range of social and environmental interventions to raise awareness and engage communities to enable themselves to increase control over their own public health, by addressing and preventing the root causes. We base our interventions on community participation in health services development, implementation, and evaluation. Our main approaches are behavioural change; human centered design approaches; community-centered educational and societal change

CCs has partnered with Zanguela SI. This company is managed by an experienced consultant with a solid reputation in different ex-ante and ex-post evaluations and project design across a broad range of subject areas. Zanguela supports CCs at three stages. During the design phase, it contributes to the development of the proposed methodology and thoroughly reviews the text to be submitted to the client. During implementation, it provides a distance monitoring service based on field reports submitted by CCs’s staff. Finally, Zanguela backstops data analysis and reviews draft reports to ensure that data analyses are clean, consistent and results are grounded and well presented.
